What's the catch at $990?
There isn't one, there's a limit. Five pages, one round of changes, and we don't do online shops. Building sites has got a lot faster in the last two years and the price reflects that. Most places haven't moved theirs.
What do I pay, and when?
Half to start and half on the day it goes live. Nothing is charged until we've spoken and you've got what we agreed in writing. If you decide against it after that call, that's the end of it.
Do I own it?
Yes. Outright. If you leave, you take the files. We don't hold anyone's website hostage to keep them paying.
Can I change it myself later?
Not directly, and that's on purpose. These are built as fast, plain files rather than a system you have to log into and learn. Small changes are covered by the yearly fee, or we quote anything bigger.
How long does it take?
Usually a week from the day you say go. The build itself is quick. What slows it down is waiting on things only you have: photos, the wording for a page, a logo file, or a login to your domain.
Do we have to do this over a screen?
Not if you're in Melbourne. We'll come and sit down with you, which most people prefer for something they're paying for. Anywhere else in Australia it's a screen share, and that works fine too.
